Names whose earliest top-100 ranking in Namewise's registrar data falls between 1940 and 1949.

The first time Namewise's registrar data shows the name inside a top 100 — not the first time it was used, and not necessarily the first time it was that widely given. Norway publishes from 1945 and Scotland from 2014, so an early entry partly reflects which registrars were publishing at all. Names that never reached a top 100 appear in none of these bands.
